Tlio Imi-quo Firth of Solway, U!J9 tons, bound from Glasgow to Dunedin, collided ■with a steamer near Greenock and sank. Thirteen of tho crow, besides tho captain’s wife and child, wore drowned.
Tho captain and eight others wero saved.
