A GENTLE FL,UTTER OF EXCITEMENT

Is being caused lu the breasts of hundreds of ladies of Wellington by the rick treat in store fop them at the Economic, Every lady dearly loves a bargain, but when that bargain consists of a dainty, bewitching, love of a bonnet direct from the deft fingers of a. leading Paris modiste, at about one quarter of its value, the attraction is irresistible; there are only 03 altogether, so that probably there will bo many disappointed ones bewailing their mistake in not going down early to get first pick. But not only arc there bonnets and bats, bat a profusion of flowers never before seen in a retail ware-house—eighty-five boxes, containing the most perfect and beautiful facsimiles of nature's choicest flowers, hunches of violets, roses, and rosebuds, holly, ivy, carnations, and other lovely flowers in silk and velvet, &c., every bunch at a uniform price of one shilling, most of them usually retailed at throe to four shillings per bunch. Then the velvets, .such delicate shades, both of light tints and dark shades and black, seme seventy lengths in all, each five yards, real Lyons silk velvet, for 15s the length, usually sold at doable that price; and then the laces and feathers and ornaments, &c., in endless profusion at similar reduction, altogether making up an attraction that will doubtless be. as attraotive to the ladies of Wellington to-day and tomorrow as hutiersootch is to the proverbial hoy. Raring the day a special show will be made in every department of the warehouse, and the combined attractions should bo such as to ensure a visit from every lady that can possibly spare the time. The warehouse be open at the usual time, and there will be a gaslight display at night. 705
