At the meeting of the Sports Committee of the Wellington Cycling Club last night, Mr <J. Eylands was elected an honorary member. It was decided that L. K. Tingey’s entry for the Novice Eaoe could not bo accepted, as he won the Maiden Eoad Eaoe this year. He was given the option of competing in another race. A lantern parade will be hold on Friday evening, starting from the Basin Reserve, where members will assemble at 7.30. • The secretary notifies that competitors can obtain their numbers and tickets at the clubroom on Friday night.
