WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL. NOTICE OP POLL. 1 HEREBY give notice that a Poll of the Ratepayers of the City will be taken at the Council Chamber. Brandon street, and at the Alhambra Hall, Adelaide road, on FRIDAY, the 21st day of February, 189 G, upon the proposal to establish Public Baths in the City. The said poll will be taken pursuant to a resolution of the City Council passed on the 30th day of January last, and pursuant to a resolution adopted at a public meeting of the ratepayers hold in accordance therewith at the Opera House on Tuesday, the 11th inst.; and the question to bo decided at such poll is—Whether there shall be one Central Bath for the whole City; whether there shall be one Bath at Thorndon and one at Te Aroj or whether no Baths shall be • established, The polling booths will be open from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m. 1 Dated this 13th day of February, 1896.
