Nominations for all events close with the Secretary at the Empire Hotel, Foatheraton, on TUESDAY, the 17th March, at 7 p.m. Weights for the first day's handicaps, will be declared on MONDAY, 23rd March, at the same place. Acceptances for the first day’s handicaps close at the same place on TUESDAY, 31st March, at 7 p.m. Weights for the second day’s handicaps will be declared at the Empire Hotel, Foatherston, at about S p.m. on the night of the first day’s races. Acceptances close at a time to be notified after the weights are posted. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. Nominations must be accompanied by the necessary fees, otherwise they may be rejected. In entering state colour, sex, name, age, pedigree and previous performances (where not known tohondicapper) and colours to be worn by the rider, and also quote number of race entered for, 2. A Hack is a horse that has never won an advertised race at any time (hack and hunter races excepted), and is not nominated in any race other than hack and hunter races at the time of nomination. 3. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the dates of nominations, weights and acceptances, also to alter the stakes should occasion arise, subject to the approval of the Metropolitan Club. GEORGE T.
