THE BRISBANE DISASTER.

By Telegraph.—Press Association.• — Copyright:. Brisbane, February 17. Two young women named McGee, sisters, are missing, and are believed to have been drowned in the Pearl accident. Another body, supposed to bo that of Newman, has been recovered. The following cable message has been received from Mr Chamberlain, Secretary of States for the Colonies : I have received the Queen’s command to express her deep regret at hearing of the ferry-boat disaster, aud her sincere sympathy with the relatives and sufferers. I also desire, to express my own sympathy and condolence. A cable message of condolence has also been received from Mr Seddon, Premier of New Zealand.
