Tho children sang a number ot choruses, and one section wont through Japanese and tambourine drill, while aneft her section sang “.Fairy Voices” in a praise* worthy manner, reflecting much credit on thtf training they had received,from Miss Craig, who is acting head-misti oss 'Q place of Mrs Francis, who is now absent on leave, and tho other teachers. Tho children who took part in the musical portion of the entertainment were appropriately dressed. Out of 7-t children who wore sent up for examination for passes, 73 passed. Throo cheers wore given by tho children for Mrs Francis, the headmistress, and at the close of tho proceedings tho children wore regaled with afternoon tea.
