Abraham and Williams, Palmerston, report of their Saturday’s horse sale; —The entry of horses was rather limited, but tho demand was considerably better than recently, so much so that we sold all but one. No draughts were on offer, but for good sorts there was a strong enquiry, the qualities of tho others boiug of tho ordinary stamp. Hacks made from X sto J!9; inferior do, 20a to 45a. By Telegraph,—Proas Association. — Copyright. London, July 28. The English wheat market is firm, tho Continental is inclined to buoyancy, and the American shows a general advance. Cargoes of South Australian wheat sold aa follows Per ship Queen of Scots, 25a 3d; per ship Helios, 24s ; per barque Soriol Wyn, 25s Gd. Spot quotations in New York for No. 2 red winter wheat is 79J cents. At yesterday’s sales 1550 casks Australian tallow wore put up to auction, of which 1000 casks were sold. Tho prices realised were— Medium mutton, 21s Ca ; medium beef, 20s. Silver, 2s Gd 3-lGths. Ottawa, July 28. The official estimate of the Manitoba wheat crop is 30,000,000 bushels.
