T KENNEDY MACDONALD & CO., • Limited, aro favoured with instructions from tho Marino Department to soli by public auction, as above — Tho steam launch Pilot, ns she now lies off tho Breastwork near tho Railway Wharf, in Wellington Harbour Tho launch is a screw steamer, and was built by Messrs Fraser and Tinno, of Auckland, in 1884. She is built of wood, and tho bottom is covered with Muntz metal. Her length is GOft between perpendiculars and C3ft over all. Tho breadth is 13ft 9in from outside of plank, and depth of hold is 7ft 2in. Her draught is Gft aft and sft forward. Her gross tonnage is 30*91, and register tonnage 10*7G. Her engines are compound surface condensing. The boiler was made to stand a working pressure of 801 b per square inch. Her cylinders are on tho compound surface condensing inverted cylinder principle. § The vessel has lately boon on the Slip and overhauled, part of tho Muntz metal has boon renewed, and a false keel put on her.
