THE POLO TOURNAMENT
Bij Telegraph.—Press Association, Christchurch, March 19. The polo tournament was continued today with matches between Rangitikei first and Warrengate, and between Rangitikei second and North Canterbury. The weather was again fine, and there was a good attendance. Tho first game produced some splendid play, but Rangitikei first, besides being tho better-mounted team, were a little stronger than their opponents, and ultimately won by five goals to one. The gamo between North Canterbury and Rangitikei second was of a most exciting description, and tho result was a tie, each team having scored four goals. It was decided to play another spell,, and, amidst ■ great excitement, Dalrymplo hit a goal and secured the match for Rangitikei second. Tho following were the teams engaged: —Rangitikei first: Blundell, J. Wilson, Riddiford, 8011. Warrengate: Chapman, McDonald, Cameron, Howisou. Rangitikei second: W. Keiller, Dalrymplo, E. Keiller, J. G. Wilson. North Canterbury : Lance, Gray, Dampier-Crossloy, McDonald.
