At the annual meeting of the Auckland Gas Company, a dividend was declared of 7s 6d on the paid-up shares, and 3s 9d on the part paid-up shares. ■ ; The shareholders authorised the increase of the qualification of directors to .£3OO, and the placing of reserve in specific securities. Mr Field was appointed a director in the place of the Hon P. Dignan (deceased), and Messrs Header, Wood and Upton were reelected. j Timabu, February 4.
