•WELLINGTON' AJfp MANAWATD EAILWAT COAUPANiSg NEXT LAND SALE. _ Th© Wellington a!l d Manawutn Eailway Company ha decided to hold another of auction sales of land on Friday, the Ltad inst., and, as heretofore, the sale will he conducted by Messrs T, Kennedy Mac* donald and Co./ limited, through whoso hands all of the Company’s estate offered since its establishment has gone under the hammer. Ths present sale will deal with 27 country j sections, containing 6000 acres and 42 townI ship sections, A. large proportion of the ■ lands to be offered on this occasion should , have been in the market years ago, but tho | difficulties attending the obtaining of the | titles from the Government (which havo ! only recently been completed) have prevented i this. Country sections suitable for farms will he found in Pahautanui, Silverstream, Upper Hutt, Chau Bay, in the centre of McManamon’s run, Otaki, Hadfield, Shannon, Fitzherbort and other parts of tho Provincial District of Wellington, Oh two or three of them will bo found valuable clearings and grass paddocks, and on others equally valuable totara. Township allotments in Paraparaumu, Oban, Manakan, Shannon, Tokoros ru and Linton add 1o the interest of the catalogue. The terms of sale have been fixed on a liberal scale—lo per cent, deposit, 15 per cent, in one month, and the balance can remain on morigage for five years at 5 per cent, interest. The Company will assist persons anxious to inspect the land by providing guides if necessary, and plans and fuller details can be inspected at their offices and that of the auctioneers. Ihe superior quality of the Company’s lands and their easy access to the Empire City will doubtless cause them to bo carefully examined by a largo number of intending buyers.
