HEEETAUNGA HACK EACING CLUB. The Heretaunga Hack Racing Club’s Meeting took place on tho Hntt Park racecourse on Saturday. The weather was fine, but n stiong wind was blowing which unpleasantly raised the dust, and tho smoke from on adjacent bush fire was also hanging very thick over the course. Thoatteudaneonumberedabout 1000 people. Amongst tho visitors was the Premier. Considering that the officers of tho Club havo been out of harness, as it were, for a while, they carried the meeting through very successfully. Mr Eomsden, the hen secretary, filled the position with credit. Mr Pringle; (starter) and LieutenantColonel Hums (judge) discharged their duties capably. For the third day’s racing of tho week speculation was very brisk, Mr Ames and his assistants handling tho of .83903 during tho day,
