By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent. Hastings, January 18.
The case in which Constable Gordon claimed £IOO damages from S. T. North, for injuries received in an accident alleged to be caused through defendant driving at night without lights, occupied the AetmgStipendiary Magistrate, Mr Stanford, all day. Counsel’s addresses Will be taken in Napier tomorrow. The Freniier was ule't at the railway platform to-day by an enthusiastic party, and a large number went to Napier by Special train to hear his address.
