PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHURCH.
The Primitive Methodist Conference was resumed yesterday morning. ■ The Missionary Committee’s report was reOeiyed an<J discussed. Applications from tiiinisters from other churches to enter the Primitive Methodist Church ijere received, but hot granted. Arrangements were made for the return to England of the Eev J. Hindes, on account of sickness.' Jt jyas 11 decided that A ch’nroh be built at Inglpweod.' gnd the Conference promised to render djnahoial help towards its erection. An application' to divide the Geraldine district and make Temuka a mission station was refused'. Benniston was made a separate station, and Westport and Waimangaroa amalgamated. • The report of the Probationers’ Examination Committee was received. All the probationers having passed their examinations creditably, they were each passed in their respective years. The remainder of the day was taken up' by-the stationing of ministers, which is fq be finished to-morrow. ! " ■ '
