A YOUNG MAN FATALLY INJURED.

A young man named John Stephenson, while engaged shunting trucks with a horse on the pier at Port Chalmers, fell, and one of the wheels of the truck passed over his left thigh, almost severing the leg from the body. He was brought to the Dunedin Hospital, where he died after the leg had been amputated.
