THE BALLANCE MEMORIAL.

TO THE EDITOR.

Sib, —In reading tho report of the Ballance Memorial Committee, I see they have made a good change in having a bust of the late Mr Ballaneo instead of an urn. I think the Committee should insist in having a model in clay, and expose it for the public approval in order to prevent any dissatisfaction from arising later on. Hoping these remarks will be of value. —I am, &c.. Memorial.
