SHOCKING FATAL ACCIDENT.

(PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Christchurch, March 23. Mrs C, R. Heath, wife of a hotelkeeper at Hew Brighton, died to-night from the result of an aooident, caused through a runaway horse colliding with a buggy in which she was sitting, in the main street of Sydenham. The owner of the'horse (Samuel Ridley) had alighted from his osrt, and left the horse standing as usual, bat something caused him to bolt. When the collision occurred, the horse in Mrs Heath’s buggy kioked her twice on the hesd. She neper regained consciousness. Daring the confusion arising from ths aooident, her bag, said to contain valuable documents and a considerable sum of m.ney, was abstracted and has not since been found.
