THE SAN FRANCISCO MAIL AT AUCKLAND.
(press association). Auckland, November 7. The R.M.S. Monosvai, from Sau Francisco, arrived this afternoon. She left at 3.30 p.m. on the 17th October, and the weather throughout was flue, though heavy fogs were met with before the steamer reached Apia, There was a delay of two days before the vessel left Sau Francisco, as the English mails were detained through the storms on Atlantic. Passengers: For Auckland—Mr and Mrs J. Wylie, Mr and Mrs A. Forman, Messrs H. Dale, W, J, Wheeler, Cunningham (3), J. A, Goodfellow, J. Robertson, O, Sbarlaod, R. Williams, M, C. Parsons, H. Hibblewhite, L. Diainant, and Lieutenant J, Brant, and 13 steerage. There are 231 passengers for Sydney, including Sell’s Brothers’ circus, with which there is % menagerie and the Silbon Acrobatic Troupe. Amongst tho New Zealand passengers is VV, J, Wheeler, the branch manager, at Wellington, of the Union S.S, Co.
