(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Danevikke, June 12, The sir months old child of Thomas Scott, late of Hastings, died this morning while its mother was bathing it. Probably there will be no inquest, as the child was previously under medical attendance. New Plymouth, Jnne 12. The body of a Maori youth, who has been missing for some time, and who was sapposed to have been lost in the buoh, has been found in the Warea River, where ho must have been drowned. BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. Greytown North, June Mr Greer, travelling correspondent to the New Zealand Times and Mail, met with an accident here last night. His horse bolted and the reins breaking, he was thrown and broke his arm. He is now in the Greytown Hospital, The Wairarapa Standard of yesterday gives the following particulars of the accident to Mr Greer:—Mr C. Greer, who is travelling representative for the New Zealand Times, met with an accident last night about six o’clcok whilst riding into Greytown. The horse was fresh, and needed a steady hand to keep him in. All went well till Mr Greer got near Mr \Vyatt*s house, north of the town. Here the rein gave way, and the rider having no control of the animal It went off at a great pace, with the result that Mr Greer was throws and came heavily down on the stones. Unfortunately, the horse trod upon the light arm and broke it below the elbow. Mr Greer went this morning to Dr Bey, who set the broken limb.
