(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION'.) Invercargill, January o, Henry Mandats, a former representative of Lake Wakatipn m X'arliament, died suddenly this morning. _ „ Thames, January 5. Mr David Schofield, headmaster of the Parawai School, died on Saturday night at To Aroha. I FROM Of K OWN CORRESPONDENT.) X , almkrston North, January «), Yesterday {Sunday) morning Mr H. A. 15. William 0 ', chemist of this town, was found dead in bed by bis brother, who went to ascertain the reason he did not come to breakfast. Appearances point to the supposition that tho deceased died in great pain. A post mortem examination was held today by Doctors Mclntyre and Porter. At the inquest held before G. M. Snolson (Mayor), a verdict of 11 died from syocopo accelerated by alcoholic poisoning, was returned. Much sympathy is expressed for tho relatives in their bereavement.
