The Postal authorities have arranged a Code of Signals to be exhibited from the flagstaff on top of the Post Office tower re* gat ding the movements of inward mail steamers and arrival of mails. Direct Service. White Pennant, OH in centre Direct steamer at Hobart. White and Blue Pennant, A in centre — Direct steamer at Auckland. Red Pennant, L in centre —Direct steamer at Lyttelton. Blue Pennant, PC in centre —Direct steamer at Port Chalmers. Red and White Pennant —Direct mail arrived in Wellington. San Francisco Service. Blue Flag, SPA in centre —San Francisco mail at Auckland. Blue and White Cheek Flag—San Francisco mail at Wellington.
