Co’s ss Wairarapa arrived here at 4.10 pm yesterday from Sydney, via Auckland, She left Sydney at 4.55 pm on the 3rd inst, cleared the heads at 6,45 pm and rounded the north Caps at 8 am on the Btb, arriving at Auckland at 9 am on the 9th; leaving Auckland again at 4.30 am on the 11th, reached Gisborne at 8 am the following day, and leaving again at 10.30 am, arrived at Napier at 5.30 pm-same day j Bailing again for this port at 10.15 pm, and arriving as above. Experienced moderate south-east winds from Sydney to Three Kings, followed by strong north-east winds with thick wet weather to Auckland, general fine weather from Auckland to arrival. She sails for Melbourne, via South, to-day. The New Zealand Shipping Company a E.M.S. Kaikoura arrived from Lyttelton at noon on Saturday, and sails for Loudon, via way ports, on Thursday next. The steamers Wanaka from Onehunga, via New Plymouth, Waverley from Pate a and Nelson, and Neptune from Blenheim, arrived here on Saturday.
