A large vessel, supposed to be the Forfarshire, passed the Nuggets at 6 pm. The U.S.S. Co.’s. sa Rotorua arrived alongside at Ipm yesterday. She left Dunedin at 5 pm on the 30th nit., called at Akaroa and Lyttelton, and-arrived as above. Experienced fine weather throughout. She sails for Nelson to-day. - The U.S.S. , Co.’e ss Kanieri arrived from Blenheim at 6 am yesterday, and returns to* day. - .... ■■ Tho’U.S.S. Go’s'as Rosamond left Oamarn at I pm on Tuesday, and met with variable weather till arrival here at 11.30 last night. She sails for Greymouth to-day. The barque Wakefield left Lyttelton on Monday, and arrived hero at 3 pm yesterday. She has 1500 bales of flax on board, and finishes loading here for New York on behalf of the New Zealand Shipping Company. The steamer Waitapu sails for Havelock, Nelson, and Motnekn at 4 pm to-day. The O.S.S. Go’s ss Ringarooma arrived from Dunedin at 1 o’clock this morning. She returns to-morrow vis Lyttelton.
