The Departmental Committee on the question of investment of trust funds in colonial securities will reassemble on the 18th, when a Bill dealing with the subject will be considered. It is expected that the Bill which is already drafted will meet with the approval of the Chancellor of the Exchequer. The provision with reference to dividends is identical with the provision contained in the Bill prepared last year by Sir F. Dillon Bell. The Bill further provides that the legal procedure in respect to operating in colonial stocks shall be the same as that prescribed in dealing with Imperial stock.
