TO FARMERS AND FRUIT-GROWERS. ; FOR SALE CHARLES REDWOOD’S PATENT NON-POISONOUS BLIGHT SPECIFIC, THE only remedy yet discovered that will effectually cure Scaly and other Blights that infest gardens and orchards, without injuring the tree in the slightest degree. The Specific should be applied to apples, pears, plums, currants, quick hedges and all trees having scaly blight, during the winter months—July and August preferred. The Patent Specific is a thorough cure for the Leech that attacks pears, plums, cherries and quick hedges in the month of January. One dressing will suffice for the season. The Patent Specific has not been applied to the Codlin Moth, there being none in the locality, but as the moth during the winter season is secreted in crevices of the bark, there can therefore be no doubt but the patent Specific will be found most effectual, as no insect life can withstand it. In placing before the public this most valuable preparation for the destruction of the various blights that infest gardens, the mnnufactnrer and patentee beg to state that he has been a practical fruit-grower for 25 years in New Zealand, and is therefore intimately acquainted with the various pests that make horticultural pursuits so unsatisfactory, he having tried nearly all the remedies extant with very poor results, until discovering in July, 1885, tho Patent Specific, and having for the last three years made numerous experiments with complete success. The Specific is cheap and easy of application. The largest of fruit trees can be thoroughly dressed at a cost of one shilling each, including labour. PRICE.
