The sa Shag arrived here frrom Foxton yesterday morning. The barque Himalaya berthed alongside the Queen’s Wharf last evening. A f ter discharging here she sails for Port Chalmers, for which port she has part cargo (about 1000 tons). She is expected to get away next week. The ship Lady Jocelyn was still detained in harbour yesterday by the high wind prevailing. The R.M.S, Aorangi, from London, via Plymouth and way ports, should arrive at Hobart to-day. She is expected to leave again this afternoon for Port Chalmers, and should reach there about Friday afternoon.

MOVEMENTS OF STEAMERS. UNION CO.’S STEAMERS.

The Waihi is due here to-day from Blenheim and the Grafton from Southern ports. The Penguin from Nelson and Pioton, Takapuna from Southern ports, and Taupo and Oreti from West Coast are due here tomorrow. The Omapere leaves here for South to-day, also the Australia for Auckland, via East Coast, the Grafton for Nelson, and Westport, and the Waihi for Blenheim. TURNBULL AND CO.’S STEAMERS, The Charles Edward, from Nelson and West Coast, should arrive here this morning. The Huia leaves here for Wanganui to-day. The Waverley is due here to-day from Patea. The Murray and Kennedy are on the West Coast. LEVIN AND CO.’S STEAMERS, The Napier leaves to-day for Foxton and the Kiwi for Castle Point and Napier, P. AND O. CO.’S STEAMERS. The Britannia leaves Sydney on the 12th November, and Melbourne on the 16tb. for London. She connects at Sydney by the Te Anau, leaving here on the 26th October, and at Melbourne by the Wairarapa, leaving Wellington on the sth November. ORIENT LINE. The R.M.S. Austral, 5588 tons, leaves Sydney November 3rd, and MelbournejNovember 9th. The connecting steamer will be the Tarawera, leaving for Melbourne 99th irmfc. The At.iu.o. iuona, tons, leaves Sydney November 17th, and Melbourne Nov. 23rd,
