CRICKET
A match was played on Saturday last between the Phoenix second and the Pitone Club, the former winning by 67 runs. The winners scored-116, of which Varnham con. tributed 33 ; Baggett, 22 ; and Aiden, 13. The Pitone team made 49, Kirk (not out), 25, and Arnold, 12, being the principal scorers. Prince bowled splendidly for the winners, securing 9 vi icketa for 16 runs.
