Christy Minstrel entertainment at the Working Men’s Club to-night, at 8 o’clock. General meeting of the Pioneer Baseball Club at the Post Office Hotel on Wednesday night, at 8 o’clock. Meeting of the Wellington branch of the Educational Institute on Saturday next.
Special arrangements are made for visitors to the Agricultural Show at Carterton on Thursday by the Government Railway Department. Mr C. Dunckley has appointed Messrs Knowles and Hervey as his attorneys to deal with the estate of Harcourt and Co, Mrs C. J. Hansen, of 56, Willis-street, is giving up the drapery business, and is now selling off. The funeral of tho son of Mr and Mrs Vaughan takes place to-day, at 4.15 p.m, Cuningham, Badham and Co. sell on Thursday, at 2 p.m., fireworks ; and at 2.30 p.m., first class English and colonial furniture, Columbia Rink now open.
