xo iiiii nmrujii Oilß, —VVill you kindly insert these few )0 lines in your widely circulated paper for the benefit of whoever it may concern. I have a child who has been afliicted with an obstinate skin disease of a most itching nature for mote than seven years. When six weeks old, or thereabouts, small reddish spots appeared in the face about the size of a pin's head. Of course a medical man waa applied to, but it steadily increased until face and head were one dark brown crust of sores. Then it spread to the bod}', chcct, back,, joints, and all fleshy parts. Medical skill appeared to be of no use, hut often mado him worse. In despair I looked upon the doctors as useless beings of the community. On the 17th September last the child waa shown to Dr Speer, now residing in Wellington. On looking at him for a minute or two ho struck at the root of the disease at once, as a man of great skill can do. After the first five days’ treatment, email stripes of healthy skin became visible ; in less than a month the face was clean ; two months a wonderful improvement on the body. After four months’ treatment there only remains a few marks on his legs and wrists. The child is still under Dr Speer’s caio, as he declares it will take some lime yet to entirely remove it from his system. It must also not bo forgotten to add that the medicines have not had the least unpleasant effect on the internal organs, which always was the ease in previous treatments. So 1 can confidently advise anyone who should be so unfortunate as to require medical aid, to call on Dr Speer for advice. I am, &0., A. ANDERSON. Johneonville, 23rd January, ISBS. I will willingly give any further information to any person who will either call or address me at Johnsonville. Wainui-o-mata. November S, 1887.
