DISSATISFACTION WITH AUCKLAND AMMUNITION.

At the distribution of prizes in connection with the Rifle Association to-night reference was made to the smallness of the aggregate scores as compared with last year, and this was ascribed to the use of Auckland ammunition. The men generally appeared very dissatisfied, and a hope was expressed that the other Associations would join in urging the Government to supply better ammunition. It was stated that some bullets fell half way to the target. THE ENGLISH AMMUNITION BLAMED. ■; Wang ’Ui. February 11. The Rifle Associating meeting was held to-day. The shooting was very bad, and great complaints are made against Kynock’s ammunition.
