By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright, (bedteb’s telegrams.) MelißOOene, May 8. Mr John Pender, Chairman of the Eastern Extension Telegraph Company, telegraphs that all difficulties in the way of a reduction of rates are now overcome, and he hopes the colonies will accept his recent proposals to allow non-contributing colonies to share the benefit. The Victorian Government have taken the question under their consideration, but their decision is not yet known. (Received May 10, 1.16 a m.) Melbouhne, May 9. The P. and O. Company’s R.M.S. Maasilia arrived this morning from London, The latest bulletins with regard to the health of Mr Justice Moles worth state that he is very much better.
