(united pkess association.) Blenheim, May 7. The divorce case, Harry Dorreen v. Elizabeth Dorreen, respondent, and Charles Diamante, jun., co-respondent, the parties being Wakamarina people, occupied the Court for along time today. The petitioner prays for a divorce on the ground cf adultery. Having himself caught respondent and corespondent together, be gave Diamantea thrashing with a life-preserver; and turned his wife oat of doors. Three children'tire issue of the marriage, the eldest being 8 years old. The respondent denied the charge,'and called evidence to show that the petitioner- himsielf had been guilty of adultery with several women, -She aUo gave evidence aa to neglect and ill-treatment on the part of the petitioner. • The co-respondent denied : the charge against him.
