New Zealand Times Office, Wednesday Evening. Messrs Laery and Campbell report that there is no alteration worth mentioning for tlm week except in potatoes, which have decidedly hardened. The following prices may be quoted as values ruling to-day : —Flour, L 8 ; sharps, L 5 os to L 5 10s ; bran, L 4 os to L 4 10s; oatmeal, LlO 10s to LlO 15s; potatoes, 70s to 755; onions, LI to Lll; oaten hay chaff, L 4 to Lo; hay, L 4 to L 4 10s; straw, I*3 to L 3 10s; no salt butter is in market ; really prime fresh bntter, Is to Is Id; eggs, lOd to lid; bacon and hams, 8d to 9d ; poultry in demand at, for fowls, 3s 6d to 3s 9d; ducks, 3s 9d to 4s per pair; turkeys, os to 6s each. At the horse sale on Saturday there were a fair amount of entries, and, with one exception, every horse was sold, realising more than owners’ values.
