(REUTER’S TELEGRAMS.) (Received May 27, 1.16 am.) London, May 25. Three per cent Consols are firm at 99. New Zealand securities—s per cent, 10-40 loan has advanced by 1 to 103 J; ii per cent 1879-1904 loan has risen ■j, to-day’s quotation being 102 ; 4 per cent inscribed stock has fallen to-day’s price being 98 j. The market rate of discount is li per cent, and the Bank rate 2j per cent. Colonial breadstuff's, tallow, and leather remain at previous quotations. May 26. Tho fleet of ironclads, which has been assembled at Portland under the command of Admiral Hornby, will start immediately for a cruise off the Irish coast. The cruise is said to be undertaken for the objectof elaborating a number of naval manoeuvres for future use.
