NOTICE.
It is requested that all communications intended for insertion In the news column may be addressed to Thb Editor. Also, that correspondents will write on one side of the paper only, otherwise their letters cannot be accepted. The widest latitude consistent with good taste will be extended to correspondents, but the slightest approach to scurrility or personality will stamp correspondence as unsuitable for insertion. Theological dlsputatlonis also to be deprecated. Anonymous correspondence will be rejected. The names of writers must be attached to letters, not for publication, unless they desire it, but as guarant of good faith on their part. Subscribers who do not receive their papers regularly are requested to at once communicate with Thu Manager, in order that the fault may be rectified , ~ . Letters relating to Advertisements and to the Commercial Department should be addressed to The Manager. Adherence to this rule is earnestly requested. Birth, marriage and death notices, sent in by persons not having a current account with us, must be paid for in advance, or they will not be inserted. The cost is 2s 6d per notice.
