RIFLE MATCH.
The contest for the cup to the Naval Brigade by Messrs France and Dix -n, and the gold and silver medals of the Brigade,, took place on Saturday afternoon, at Polhill Gully. A - morning’s squad also competed. Bandsman Howe snoceeeded in winning. the cup and Bandsman H. Dixon the gold medal. Seaman C. France taking the sUvey-medal. The shooting was rather iudifferent considering. the fine weather prevailing during jthe day. The prize-winners for the cup (the'last five shots counting for the medals) were as follow
