(FROM 008 OWN CORRESPONDENT.) September 21. The Native Land Court gave judgment in the Maurioko, Mangaraki, and ' Whakarae Blocks. Judgment in the first case was given in favor of Keremenata and others of hishapu; also in favor of Ngaua, to the exclusion of Paio. The latter case was adjourned until to-morrow.
The Taratahi Dairy Company have appointed the following Directors : —Colonel Farrington, Messrs Barrows, Francis, Gallie, Reynolds, Vile, and Champneys, Mr Walters was appointed auditor. The attention of the Resident Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday was chiefly given to the consideration' of a few more Spargo cases, which resulted in Tremewau being sent to town for a couple of months' incarceration with hard labor, and to find sureties—himself in £IOO, and two of £SO each—for six months’ good behavior when he comes out. ,
The Mssterton Rifle team beat the Carterton men at the match bn Wednesday by 27 points.
