At 2.30 o clock p.m. T KENNEDY MACDONALD & CO. q .are favored-with instructions from the Executors of the late James Armstrong, Esq., o sell by Public Auction as above, absolutely without Reserve, the whole op the Grand Pastoral Properties occupied by _tim late Mr Armstrong, in the Provincial District of Wellington, as follows : Lot 1. THE AKITEO STATION, Consisting cf 31,384 acres of Freehold Land, together with 24,000 Sheep and this season’s lambing, 550 head of Cattle, 50 Horses, and all Stores, Plant, &0., belonging to the Station, the personal effects of the late Mr Armstrong being alone reserved. The, laud is divided into a large number of paddocks securely fenced, while the buildings comprise dwell-ing-house of 11 rooms, store, woolshed, shepherds’ and men’s huts. The drafting and stockyards are moat complete, and there is a capital garden and plantation attached to the House. Lot 2. GLENCOE STATION, containing 12,072 acres of Freehold Land, subdvided into suitable paddocks surrounded by about 14 miles of fencing. The buildings consist of 4-roomed dwell-ing-house, men’s huts, &c. There is a splendid orchard and garden attached to the house, while the yards for stock and drafting purposes arc admirably arranged. AOHUNGA STATION, Leasehold, containing about 18,000 acres. The Lease has nine years to run at an annual rental of £2OO. The above Properties are situated on the East Coast of the North Island, and are without exception among the best investments in squatting estate in New Zealand. The Akiteo Station was an early selection of the late Sir Donald McLean, whose judgement in these matters was well known ; while the Glencoe, Aohunga and AMtio Lands are admitted by all to be first-class. The present productive power of the Properties can be gathered from the fact that over 900 bales of wool were shipped from these Stations’ clip of 1880, while it is expected that fully 1000 bales will be sent away this year, and this quantity is capable of being increased to an enormous extent by further improvements. The terms of the sale have been fixed at one-fourth cash, the balance remaining, if desired, for 2,3, 4, or 5 years, bearing interest at 7 per cent, per annum, payable annually.
