The Jockey Club to-day fixed the Autumn Meeting for April 10th and 11th, and nominations for February 4th, the weights for the Great Autumn Handicap to appear on March (?) Ist. Mr Brabazon has resigned the office of Starter, and Captain Coventry has been appointed in his place. A proposition was made to alter the name of the O. J.O. Handicap to “ New Zealand Cup,” but it was not approved.
