A good demand was again experienced at to-day’s wool auction. The catalogue comprised 9100 bales. The total quantity withdrawn from sale since the opening is 3000. December 2.

At a meeting of the Aberdeen delegates of the Scotch Land League to-day, representations, signed by 40,000 farmers, were presented, demanding the immediate reform of the land laws.

It is reported on the London Stock Exchange that a four million loan for the Colony of Victoria will shortly be placed on the market.
