The steamer Go-Ahead, from the East Coast, arrived at the wharf on Saturday evening, with a full cargo of wool. She left Castle Point last Wednesday morning for Mataikuna ; took in wool, and proceeded on to Oahango same day; left there on Friday for White Rock; left the e at 3 p.m. on Saturday, and arrived here as above. The coal barque Malay, from Newcastle, arrived off the Heads on Friday night. On Saturday morning the wind came away from the southward, and she sailed in, reaching the wharf at 10 a.m. She has made the run across in 12 days, having experienced for the first six days westerly winds, and thence light easterly. She le t again early on Sunday morning, and re urns here to day. The schooner Elizabeth Conway and ketch Forest Queen, from Lyttelton, both arrived in harbor on Saturday forenoon.

The ketch Lucy and James, from Lyttelton, in ballast, arrived off the Breastwork at noon yesterday. She left last Friday, nod experienced a southerly wind, with heavy sea. The steamer Patea, from Patea, arrived at the wharf at 11.30 yesterday forenoon. She leaves Again to-day for the same port. The brigantine Eliza Mary, from Napier, arrived here in ballast on Saturday morning, in charge of Assistant Pilot Shilling, Pilot Holmes being engaged on board the Lady Agnes. The steamer Jane Douglas, from Foxton, is duo here to-day. The steamer Kiwi, from East Coast ports, arrived in pert yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. She left Castle Point on Saturday, and experienced southerly weather along the coast. The ketch Star of the Sea, for Havelock, left the Breastwork yesterday. The ketch Agnss, from Kaiapoi, with a cargo of oats, consigned to Mr Thomas, arrived in port early yesterday morning. She will commence discharging to-day. The X7.S.S. Co.’s Wanaka, from Lyttelton, arrived at the wharf at 2 p.m. yesterday, bringing the Southern portion of the outward ’Frisco mail. She left Lyttelton at 9.40 p.m. on Saturday, and experienced a fresh southerly breeze throughout. She leaves to-day for Picton and Nelson. The U S.S. Co.’s Penguin, from Picton and Nelson, arrived in harbor at 4a. m. yesterday. She left Nelson at 5 p.m. on the 3rd instant, and experienced strong S.E. winds to arrival She left, shortly after the .arrival of the Wanaka, for Taranaki and Manukau, with Che outgoing 'Frisco mail, for transhipment at Auckland. . The U S.S. Co.’s Bingarooma arrived at the wharf yesterday morning at 9 o’clock. She left the Bay of Islands at 6 p.m. on the 30th ultimo, reaching Auckland next morning; sailed shortly after noon, and reached Gisborne at 1 p.m. on the 2nd ; left at 6 p.m. aud arrived at Napier next morning at 2.16; sailed at 1.15 p.m., arriving here as above She sails for Melbourne, via the South, at 3 p.m. to-day. ARRIVAL OF TFTE LALY AGNES, FROM NEW YORK. The barque Lady Agnes, from New York, with American notions, arrived in harbor on Saturday, under charge of Pilot Holmes, after a passage of 100 days. From the master we learn the barque left on August IS. and on the following day fell in with very nasty weather, and had her starboard anchor washed from the davits. The following day the sea some what moderated, but the weather was very unsettled, and accompanied with vivid lightning and heavy hailstorms. On September 17th exchanged signals with the barque Charlatan, 70 days out from New York, bound to the Cape of Good Hope. On October 2nd experienced a very heavy gale, and shipped large quantities of water, but which did no damage to the ship. On the 21st the gale was fallen in with, and the ship had to \ut before It ore sail could be reduced. On the 22nd rounded the Cape. The following day sighted a very large iceberg, in lat. 40min X4deg S., long. SSmln 15deg K, In the eve Ing sighted another. The following week large and small icebergs were seen on both sides, and the cold was, at times, intense. Light variable weather was then experienced until Bth November, when another heavy gale was encountered. On the 27<h saw the land, and the following day sighted Cape Saunders, with thick weather. Thence had variable winds up the coast. Made the heads on Saturday morning, when Pilot Holmes boarded her, and brought the vessel In as above. She was at once berthed, and will commence discharging to-day.
