Arrived at Newcastle, yesterday evening—Steamship Alhambra, from New Zealand.

Sailed, this afternoon—Steamship City of Sydney, for Auckland. Several fresh cases of smallpox are reported, and it is feared the epidemic is increasing.

A cricket match between the English team and Twenty-two of Orange has resulted in a victory for the former, by one innings and 96 runs.
