UNION BANK DIVIDEND. PROPOSED BANQUET TO THE CABINET. London, July 21. Consuls, 101]. Bank rate of discount, ; market rate, Ig per cent. New Zealand securities are unchanged. The total reserve in notesand bullion i5£15,100,000. Australian and New Zealand breadstuffs and Australian tallow are without quotable change. A fair demand exists for most descriptions of Australian hides. The Union Bank of Australia has declared a dividend at the rate of 7 per cent, for the past half year. A strong movement is being made to organise a public banquet to the members of the Cabinet, as an expression of gratitude of the Liberals at the policy of the Government.
