I , are favored with instructions from the Trustees in the Estate of E. W. Mills, to sell by public auction on the above date— The well-known and powerful STEEL STEAM LAUNCH WAIWERA, built by E. W. Mills, in November, 1880, at the Lion Foundry, and now lying in Wellington Harbor, in perfect order and condition. The Waiwera is 59 feet long by 9 feet (3 inches beam, and draws 4 feet of water. She is built of steel, and fitted with a pair of compound, surface condensing engines, 10 horsepower nominal (60 horse-power indicated), with high pressure boiler of large capacity to bear a pressure of 90lbs. per square inch. Steams well with a small consumption of fuel. She can seat 75 people ; has large water ballast ; and is especially adapted for harbor or river passenger traffic, or for towing. This splendid Launch will be found thoroughly equipped with every requisite, including anchor, windlass, donkey-pump and bilge-ejector, bunker for 2i tons coals, awnings, boat-hooks, anchor and chain, stoking tools, &c., &o.
