THE GREY VALLEY ELECTION.
(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Reefion, May 29.
Mr. Fitzgerald’s meeting last night was well attended, and the usual vote of confidence carried. Mr. Weston has issued an address to the electors, in which he says ho will follow no party blindly, but act fairly to both sides ot the House. He supports the harbor works at Greymouth and the East and West Coast Railway ; also reform in the procedure of the Courts, liberal and progressive policy in all matters of colonial concern. He favors present stcular system of education.
