TO CORRESPONDENTS
Wk have to request oorresxiondents particular in addressing business communications to “Manager” or “Proprietor” New Zealand Times and New Zealand Mail, and not to use the suffix “Company.” Ihe Times Company is now m liquidation, and if letters intended for either the Times or Mail are addressed to the Company, they are liable to delay in reaching their proper destination. It is requested that all communications intended for insertion in the news column may be addressed to The Editor. Also, that correspondents will write on ono side of the paper only, otherwise their letters cannot be accepted. The widest latitude consistent with good taste will bo extended to correspondents, but the slightest approach to scurrility or personality will stamp correspondence as unsuitable for insertion. Theological disputation is also to bo deprecated. Anonymous correspondence will be rejected. The names of writers must bo attached to letters, not for publication, unless they desire it, but as guarantee of good faith on their i>art. Letters relating to Advertisements and to the Commercial Department should bo addressed to Tub Manaoek. Adherence to thift rule is earnestly requested.
