The steamer Stormbird crossed the Wanganui bar at 12 20 p.m. on Saturday, and arrived here at 12.30 a.m-- yesterday ; had strong north-west wind, with heavy sea, through the Straits. She leaves for Wanganui at 7 o’clock to-night. The steamer Manawatu, from Wanganui, arrived here at 4.30 p.m. on Saturday, and is advertised to leave for Foxton at 7 o’clock to-night.
