T. KENNEDY MACDONALD AND CO.’S GREAT LAND SALE ON MONDAY NEXT.

The day of the sale of the villa sites, subdivisions of town acres 132, 164.166,15 T, 188, known as Hunter’s acres, is approaching, and intending purchasers should take an opportunity of visiting the allotments, which are all pegged off, with a large flag denoting th-i number, to enable visitors to see exactly what they are buying. There are also two very large banners on the property, one of which is 9 feet long by I‘2 feet high, which is attracting general attention. The competition for the sections, on account of their admirable position, will be very keen. The great feature of the sale la that the streets formed through the acres have been a public want forycars, Macdonaldcrescent being a convenient approach to the Terrace ; and being a very easy grade, will undoubtedly become the best thoroughfare in that part of the city. The property lately occupied by P. Klngdon, Esq., at Karori, which has been subdivided into ninetyeight convenient sections, will also be submitted to public competition. J. Johnston and G. Friend, Esq. The proposed railway passes through the property. The catalogue will also Include a comfortable cottage on Featherston Terraco, two sections on Searboro’ Terrace, a sixroomed house in EUxabeth-etreet, and a family residence in Ingestre-street, near the residence of J. D. Baird, Esq.: also, several sections in the township of Wanstead and a cottage in Eintoui-atreet. The sale, which will be held in the Atbenasum, will commence at 2 o’clock. A lunch will be on the table at 1 o’clock.
