Should favorable weather prevail between now and harvest time the average yield of grain is expected to bo higher than for years past- Considering that the grain yield in other parts of the colony, particularly in Canterbury, Is not expected to he so large this year, the farmers here look forward to obtaining good prices, particularly for oats.
